About Me

I received my doctorate in 1992.  I have been licensed as a psychologist since 1993. My undergraduate degree is from Harvard University.  My APA Internship was completed at UMass Medical Center, and my Psy.D. is from the Clinical Psychology doctoral program at William James College in Boston, Massachusetts.  My first job out of graduate school was at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Clinic in New Hampshire, from 1992 - 1998.  I have been in private practice since 1998 and practicing in Tampa since 2012.

My practice provides counseling and psychotherapy for adults and adolescents with all kinds of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, work and school, family issues, loss, and relationship challenges. I also do quite a lot of marital and couples work, focusing on communication, negotiation, mindfulness in marriage, intimacy, fidelity, finances, and countless other issues.

I am an active therapist and I make strong connections with my patients. I am deeply experienced in collaborating with prescribers and primary care doctors. My ethical standards are the highest and my record is immaculate.

I have been married for more than 25 years, I have two children in their 20's, and my parents are both deceased. I have been through many of the challenges you face in your life. If we spend some time talking, we can find solutions.
